The Residenza d'epoca Villa di Piazzano is a 15th century's manor house, located in the fabulous countryside 5 km from the town of Cortona, on the border between Tuscany and Umbria, an ideal base for planning day trips to Florence, Siena, the Chianti region, Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi and many other interesting sites, as well as to wineries and olive oil mills. The Residenza d'epoca Villa di Piazzano was transformed by the Wimpole family into an elegant country residence, dedicating special attention to preserving the beauty and authenticity of the original building. The Villa is furnished with antiques belonging to the family and the guest rooms offer all the modern comforts and facilities of an first class hotel. Surrounded by a garden of 1 hectare, featuring a spectacular entrance with a cypress lined driveway, a large swimming pool and a private parking for guests, the Villa offers a relaxing and quiet stay in a unique setting.
